Turramurra
Brief
Located on a heavily shaded site, the existing two storey dwelling required careful reworking of its overly complicated and poorly designed everyday living spaces so as to appropriately handle the south-eastern orientation and create a true indoor / outdoor connection to satisfy functional and aesthetic design requirements.
Solution
The internal spaces are hinged on a new high-end kitchen, with the dining area directly opening out to the covered patio and flowing pool deck articulated by a frameless pool fence, textured feature wall and illuminated planter boxes. Rendering, painting and lighting refurbishment works also assisted in modernising the dwelling.
